A Warped Time Tale by Dijona C

There is a young girl sitting at the corner of moon street. Gazing into the starry night sky;searching for another shooting star to create another memory like her last. Theres a ticking heard from the street far up ahead. She can't make out the sound but she assumes that it is only the breathe of time slowly running out. Her heart starts pounding faster and it begins to rain. She has noticed years have gone by and she's still waiting on the corner where he left her. The ticking grows louder and she wails in the palms of her hands; hovered face over her lap trapping the sounds between her legs. Feelings of defeat she feels.Then, a hand that lifts her face from her lap. It is him, in the most transformed state. He is wrinkled and withered with grey strands beneath his chin; he's an old man now, but he whispers "It is me." They both look up to find a shooting star blazing across the night sky.
